About My Prints

I produce each print from a photographic digital negative that serves as the master image, ensuring consistency across the edition. I refine these negatives using computer-based processes that parallel traditional darkroom techniques—precise adjustments to cropping, color balance, and tonal saturation. Digital tools extend the control once possible only in the darkroom, offering greater accuracy and subtlety in execution. From the moment of exposure through the final print, I direct every stage of the process to preserve both craft and intent.

Archival Materials

I craft each print using archival, pigment-based inks on carefully chosen, acid- and lignin-free papers that enhance both image and longevity. I define my work as archival pigment prints, applying the same meticulous care to matting and framing with archival materials.

Advances in inks and papers now allow prints to rival or surpass traditional photographic methods in stability and lifespan. By controlling every stage—from exposure to final print—I ensure each piece endures for a century or more, preserving its visual depth and the subtle artistry of its creation.
